Although born in Caguas, Puerto Rico Wendy definitely considers herself a Florida local. She’s been in Florida since she was three years old. “Everyone says we’re like unicorns!!” She’s a Charlotte Tarpon (class of 2004) the last graduating class before hurricane Charley came through Charlotte County and changed our lives forever. With so much devastation after the hurricane, she decided it would be best to stay close to her mother, here in Port Charlotte. 

Wendy never had much interest in going to college as she was extremely intrigued by the beauty industry. She enrolled at the Charlotte Technical College in 2008 to start the cosmetology program. Graduating one year later, after being inducted into the National Technical Honor Society. Founded in 1984, this non-profit organization was established to recognize excellence in workforce education and award scholarships to its members. Spending the next 10 years at two different salons she grew her clientele and continued her education. It was then in October 2019 that she was able to open a salon and spa in beautiful downtown Punta Gorda. Wendy’s goal was to bring a different experience, vibe, and energy when you stepped into Dream Salon & Spa. Since opening 2 1/2 years ago Dream Salon & Spa has won numerous awards including best hair salon, nail salon, spa, massage, and permanent make up. In 2021 she had the honor of winning Best of the Best for Charlotte County! She has built a team full of talent that is a force to be reckoned with. March 7, 2022 Wendy launched MedSpa services as an addition to her business and plans to continue to grow and serve Charlotte County.

Linda Harris

Linda is an ANCC (American Nurses Credentialing Center) Board Certified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. She was one of the very first Nurse Practitioners in the State of Florida to obtain her autonomous license. Since 2005, she has been certified by the Esthetic Skin Institute, Inc. in the injection techniques associated with neuromodulators (Botox) and dermal fillers. Furthermore, Linda has a vast 32-year background, not only as an Operating Room Nurse, but also as a Cardiothoracic Nurse Practitioner in Cardiothoracic Surgery (Open Heart Surgery), managing patient care in the ICU, participating in vein/artery harvesting in the Operating Room, and first assisting all surgical procedures. 

Currently, Linda has been certified by the American Academy of Facial Esthetics (AAFE) in Level III/Master Injectors for Dermal Fillers and Level III/Master Injectors for Neuromodulator injections (Botox - Dysport, Xeomin), as well as Master Lips and Master Eyes.

A very exciting new development in this area is Linda's certification in both PDO Smooth Thread placement and PDO Lifting Thread placement. 

If you are unfamiliar, these are solid filler PDO threads. These are absorbable threads that have been used for years to perform procedures such as laparoscopic surgery, orthopedic surgery, dental surgery, cosmetic surgery, neurosurgery, and open-heart surgery. By a small needle, they are injected into the subcutaneous layer of the skin. This is to achieve immediate structure, skin rejuvenation, improved texture, skin tightening, and stimulating nucleogenesis for long term collagen production. 

Solid filler threads can be used virtually anywhere on the body, such as to lift loose skin on the upper arms, stomach, thighs and around the knees. 

Is PDO Lifting Thread the right choice for me? Those who display minimal signs of aging but require a small lift. A patient who is experiencing droopiness of the cheeks, jowls, or neck and would like to see a more lifted and smoother appearance. People who are unwilling to undergo a surgical facelift or neck lift. 

In conjunction with Dream Salon & Spa, Linda provides micro-needling for the purpose of rejuvenating and resurfacing the skin on the face, neck, chest, and other areas. The procedure can be done with or without PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma), which can be obtained conveniently in the office setting.
